Our Services

Positive Behaviour Support

At Thrive Positive Behaviour Support, we provide specialist behaviour support services to children and young people aged 6–65, with a focus on children and young people living in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) and experiencing the impacts of trauma, complex diagnoses, and challenging behaviours

We work with individuals who may engage in self-harm, experience suicidal ideation, display sexualised behaviours, or present with other high-risk behaviours. We work with individuals who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder and much more. Our approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practice — always tailored to meet each young person where they’re at.

Our service goes beyond behaviour support. We are passionate about empowering children and young people to build their independence, confidence, and safety by supporting growth in areas such as: Emotional regulation and self-awareness, Sexual health and healthy relationships, Online safety and digital boundaries and Independent living skills such as decision-making, hygiene, and daily routines

We work collaboratively with carers, support teams, and the young person’s broader network to create a consistent, connected approach — because when young people feel safe, understood, and supported, they have the best chance to thrive.

Clinical Supervision

At Thrive Positive Behaviour Support, we are committed to supporting practitioners in their professional growth through high-quality external clinical supervision with our Director and Lead Practitioner. Our supervision sessions are tailored to your needs and include industry-relevant training, skill development, complex case discussions, and practical guidance to strengthen your practice.

We also offer specialised support for practitioners applying for NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration at both Core and Proficient levels, ensuring you are confident and prepared throughout the process.

Our Director brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC), trauma-informed care, complex behaviours, and complex diagnoses, backed by a degree in Psychological Science. This unique expertise ensures that supervision is not only compliant with industry standards but also enriched with real-world insights and practical strategies that make a difference in the lives of the people you support.
